Payments & Invoicing (Preparing for Beta test)

  • PW-19337 / PW-19336 – The Payments list page now displays both the count and total dollar value of invoices or payment requests.

  • PW-18924 – When you create a retainer invoice, you can now link an existing proposals and scheduled payments.

  • PW-19307 – Removing a customer from a Retainer Invoice now automatically detaches the linked proposal.

  • PW-19298 – The “Review & Send” button is now replaced by “Receive Payment” button once the Payment Request or Invoice has been sent.

  • PW-19161 – Users are now prompted about whether or not to include auto-attachments when adding an item to a Standard Invoice.

Integrations

  • PW-19248 – Clicking the Zoho Deal logo button on a linked proposal now opens the corresponding Zoho Deal in a new tab (in Beta).

  • PW-19359 – Resolved a syncing issue where updates intended for Zoho Books were routed to QuickBooks (in Beta).

  • PW-19250 – QuickBooks Online now highlights empty required fields during sync.

Proposals

  • PW-18783 – The QuickBooks icon within proposals now uses the smart button styling

  • PW-19118 – The “Pending tab under Payment Requests now shows all pending and upcoming items based on the Payment Schedule, even if they haven’t been created yet.

  • PW-19170 – Added a “Receive Payment” button at the top of invoices, so you no longer need to access it from the menu.

  • PW-19154 – Disabled the “Review & Submit” and “Receive Payment” actions until a client is added.

  • PW-19187 – You can now select between Standard or Retainer invoice types when creating a new invoice.

Proposals

  • PW-19067 – We enhanced the empty state of proposals with an Add Client button directly in the client section to clearly indicate a client needs to be added.

  • PW-19062 – The Add Client button within proposals stays visible in the header as you scroll, making it quicker and easier to add a client to a proposal at any point.

  • PW-19146 – You can now create a new Proposal or Invoice directly from the Contact page in the People section in Portal.

  • PW-19137 – Added the QuickBooks estimate number for reference to the small tool tip that pops up when you mouse over the QuickBooks icon on a proposal (The icon that appears once you’ve sent a proposal to QuickBooks Online).

  • PW-19130 – Fixed an issue where some dealers were missing company and stock images when customizing cover pages on Proposals.

Payments & Invoicing

  • PW-19142 – Invoice “Types” (Standard vs. Retainer) are now clearly labeled in the summary view and in the Invoice itself, allowing users to quickly see what type of invoice it is - Standard Invoice, Retainer Invoice, or (Legacy) Payment Request.

  • PW-19150 – The new “Type” filter on the Invoices summary (list) page allows users to filter the list of invoices by type.

  • PW-19152 – The “Send” button on draft invoices has been renamed “Review & Submit” to better reflect that a confirmation step follows clicking the button.

  • PW-19124 – Invoice line items have been reduced in size, to reduce clutter

  • PW-19163 – Removed the dedicated “Add Labor” button from Standard Invoices, since labor can be added using standard item entry.

  • PW-19026 – When items are added to a Standard Invoice from the catalog, they’re now visually highlighted in real time, confirming to users that their action was successful.

  • PW-19127 – Fixed an issue where correct default payment options were not applied automatically based on dealer settings.

  • PW-19087 – Fixed an issue where the default “Invoice Message” on a new Invoice was not populating correctly. This default message can be set per Company account.

  • PW-19086 – Due dates on new Invoices now correctly default to today’s date, and can be edited from there.

  • PW-19088 – Fixed an issue where when creating an invoice from the Proposal using the payment/invoice placeholders below the Payment Schedule, the placeholder was still showing as a future payment even though the invoice had just been created from it.

Integrations

  • PW-19128 – Added new controls in the QBO integration settings for how invoices get pushed to QuickBooks Online.

  • PW-19100 – Improved tooltip language in the new QBO settings section to help users understand configuration options more clearly.

  • PW-19080 / PW-19081 – You can now preview, edit, and check for duplicates before importing contacts from QBO and Salesforce. .

  • PW-19171Before: Dealers couldn’t modify contact details during the import flow. Now: All edits made during the import preview are saved.

  • PW-19131Before: When the standard invoice service was disabled, QBO payment records failed to generate. Now: QBO records are created for payments regardless of invoice enabled service setting.

  • PW-19112 / PW-19113 – The Stripe integration now supports automatic bank verification without the need for micro-deposit delays to simplify the ACH payment process for customers. This is currently an enabled service per account while we do final production testing.

  • When replacing an item in a proposal, the catalog now opens filtered to the original item's product category by default

  • Editable Payment Amounts: Enabled editing of received payment values at the moment of recording, including support for partial or corrected payments.

  • PW-18878 - Fixed an issue where PDF downloads were missing expiry dates. Dates now match what's shown in the client view.

Integrations

  • Integration Standardization: We've combined QuickBooks and Zoho (Zoho in Beta test) event streams into a single “Integration” channel, now with clear properties for integration type (QuickBooks or Zoho).

  • PW-18863 - Fixed an issue where missing Country fields were preventing the correct State selection in address forms during QuickBooks contact imports.

  • Started work on a Salesforce Integration. Shhh… if you made it this far, you’ve uncovered a little Easter egg.

    • Proposal UI now displays linked deal information with a direct link to Zoho.

    • Improved Zoho contact matching logic by allowing the system to ignore company names when checking for duplicates.

    • Fixed an issue where all Zoho search results were incorrectly showing as already linked—even when they weren’t.

    • PW-18661 - Zoho-linked clients are now accurately identified—fresh contacts no longer show as pre-linked.

    • PW-18660 - Fixed logic so item creation settings for Zoho Books now apply as expected.
