Catalog

  • The option to auto-create a payment request is now enabled by default when new users add a payment schedule.

  • PW-21179 - Resolved an issue where featured items appeared as duplicates in Catalog search results. Featured items now display only once and no longer show the "Featured" tag in Favorites.

Proposals

  • Improved support for international currencies on the app. Currency symbols now display correctly in proposal payment schedules and within the catalog for custom, labor, and fee items.

  • You can now set a default client note for proposal line items. Use the “Set as My Default” checkbox to save time when adding similar notes across items.

Payments & Invoicing

  • Paid invoice email notifications now include a clearer breakdown of the convenience fee within the charge amount.

Integrations

  • Finalized the QuickBooks Online integration for invoices, including manual and automated workflows. This feature is rolling out in Beta to select dealers.

People

  • The People tab now defaults to sorting by “Last Active by Me,” making it easier to find contacts you’ve recently interacted with.

General

  • PW-21186 - Emails now display the correct international currency symbol based on user's account settings.

Catalog

  • PW-21179 - Resolved an issue where featured items marked as favorites appeared twice in the “More” section on results. Duplicate entries have been removed.

  • PW-21157 - Fixed a display issue where suggested replacement items were missing images when changing a product’s category. Images now appear correctly in the pop-up window.

Proposals

  • Improved the speed of proposal acceptance by optimizing backend processes. Clients will now experience faster response times when they click “Accept Proposal.”

  • PW-21135 - Fixed an issue where options couldn’t be deleted on proposals.

Payments & Invoicing

  • Dealers can now choose which payment methods are shown to clients directly from their settings. We've also improved error messages when payment processors encounter issues, making troubleshooting easier.

  • PW-21229 - Invoice PDFs now correctly include change order fees in the total amount.

Integrations

  • PW-21100 - Fixed an issue in the Zapier integration where the “Update Payment Status” trigger was causing errors.

General

  • New password fields now support Chrome’s strong password suggestions in the Sign Up, User Invite, and Change Password screens.

Catalog

  • Catalog scroll position is now preserved when navigating back from a category. The page no longer resets to the top after loading.

  • Item catalog views in pop-up windows now match the standard layout.

  • PW-20838 - Resolved an issue where favoriting an item would sometimes cause it to disappear from the search results.

  • PW-20424 - Fixed an issue where hitting the back button in the catalog would force you to the top of the previous page after the full page loaded; now, it will not auto-scroll you to the top if you’ve begun scrolling before the page fully loads.

Proposals

  • Improved Salesperson filter logic across Proposals and Change Orders, including:

    • Excludes archived proposals unless selected

    • Separates proposal vs. change order data

    • Hides salespeople with no relevant activity

  • Updated tax section error message to say “Add Client” instead of “Add Client Location” when no client is assigned.

  • Removed Parts and Labor tax lines from the financial summary when tax calculation is incomplete.

  • Client location addresses are now editable directly in the pop-up window.

  • PW-21145 - Resolved an issue where not all of the accepted change orders were displaying in the proposal PDF download.

Payments & Invoicing

  • Updated the label on invoices from “Request Date” to “Invoice Date.”

  • PW-21169 - Fixed an issue where invoices that were manually pushed to QBO with new items were not being added to a user’s QBO library even if they had the “Create Items in My QBO Library" setting enabled. Instead, it was pulling in generic items as placeholders.

  • PW-21079 - Resolved an issue where duplicate featured items appeared in Catalog search results.

Proposals

  • On Proposal pages, the gray button at the top of a Submitted proposal and three-dot menu now read “Resubmit via Email.”

  • On mobile, layout and styling of the Payment Schedule section have been improved, including text colors, improved spacing, and better alignment for milestone details and action icons.

  • PW-21082 - Fixed an issue where new users given the manager role were not given the AI proposal user permission by default.

Payments & Invoicing

  • PW-21091 - Resolved an issue where creating a second payment request would duplicate the first request.

  • PW-20598 - Fixed an issue where the payment schedule was being excluded from client view PDFs if change orders were added.

  • PW-20694 - Fixed an issue where the credit card convenience fee was not being shown in paid notifications for invoices.

Orders

  • PW-20427 - Fixed an issue where attaching a PDF on an order was causing an error.

Integrations

  • Monday.com (in Beta):

    • Updated Monday.com setup. After installing the Portal app, users are now guided into OAuth authorization.

  • PW-20887 - Fixed an issue where Zoho CRM Contact search was not working.

Proposals

  • Updated the display logic for the Payment Request section in proposals. The Payment Requests section appears only after a proposal is accepted or if a Payment Schedule exists.

  • When no payment schedule exists, the “+ New Payment Request” button now skips the scheduled payments screen.

  • Payment Schedule Display Updates

    • Added a larger Payment Schedule button in the Payment Schedule section when no schedule is present.

    • Added support text under the Payment Schedule header explaining the benefits of setting up a payment schedule.

    • Improved alignment and styling for payment amounts in the Payment Schedule pop-up window.

    • Updated the saved view of Payment Schedules to match the in-editor styling.

    • Moved the “Auto-Create” checkbox for Due at Acceptance milestone into the milestone pop-up window.

  • PW-20997 - Resolved an issue where the buttons for adding labor, custom items, and fees were not displaying correctly in the proposal editor.

  • PW-20932 - Fixed an issue where proposal statuses were not automatically updating to “Accepted” after client approval.

  • PW-20990 - Fixed an issue where the revert-to-catalog value icon did not correctly restore original catalog item values in proposals.

Payments & Invoicing

  • PW-20805 - Fixed an issue where if an Invoice was linked to QBO, and the title of the Invoice was edited in Portal, the title would revert to the original name after an item was added.

People

  • PW-20965 - Fixed an issue where the client search functionality was not working correctly.

Integrations

  • Introduced support for Avalara tax calculations. Avalara now provides real-time tax rates based on customer or company location. We will transition off of TaxJar.

  • Improved integration descriptions and labels for clarity and consistency across connected platforms.

  • Third-party proposal push errors now include item-level details such as brand, model number, and area to help identify issues faster.

Proposals

  • When selecting an item via the check box, the action banner was moved to the top of the page as a header on the proposal for quicker, more intuitive action for the selected items.

Payments & Invoicing

  • PW-20359 - Resolved an issue on mobile where the invoice statuses (Paid, Past Due, Pending) were not defaulting correctly.

Integrations

  • HubSpot (in Beta):

    • The HubSpot integration is now available in beta. You can now authenticate your account, search HubSpot CRM contacts, and import them directly into Portal.

  • PW-20904 - Resolved an issue in the Zoho Deals integration where deal stages were not updating even when the proposal data was synced.

  • PW-20668 - Fixed a Zoho Books integration issue where taxable items were incorrectly marked as tax-exempt, causing errors when pushing proposals.

Proposals

  • The status filter on the Proposal summary page now shows only statuses that have matching proposals based on the filters you’ve applied. Each status also includes a count, helping you quickly see how many proposals fall into each category.

  • PW-19314 - Resolved an issue where deleted proposals remained accessible through Recent Activity and still displayed a submit button.

  • PW-20786 - Addressed a display issue where About Us, Project Description, Terms, and Schedule sections weren't showing correctly in accepted proposals.

People

  • You can now sort the People summary page by Last Active or Last Active by Me, making it easier to find contacts based on recent edits or activity linked to your proposals or invoices.

Integrations

  • The Monday.com integration is now available in beta. This release includes account authentication and lets you search and import Monday.com CRM contacts directly within Portal.

  • PW-20890 - Fixed an issue that prevented successful contact imports from Monday.com.

General

  • We've refreshed the design of toggle-style controls throughout the app to make them easier to read and use. Font sizes, colors, and spacing have been refined for a cleaner, more consistent look.

Proposals

  • Filter buttons on the Proposal Summary page and other modules now include dropdown arrows, clearly indicating that they open menus rather than act as toggles.

  • The top navigation on the Proposal Summary page has been updated to organize content by type, starting with Proposals and Change Orders.

  • Change Order details are now displayed more clearly and consistently. Key information such as the proposal number is now easier to see.

  • Change Orders now have a dedicated view within the Proposal Summary page, making them easier to access without needing to open individual proposals.

  • The "Expired" status in the Proposal Status filter has been repositioned after "Draft" and is now styled in gray, clarifying that the proposal is no longer viewable by the client.

  • A new "Email Failed" filter has been added to proposal statuses, appearing before "Submitted" to help teams quickly identify and address delivery issues.

  • The "Viewed" status is now available in the proposal status filter, following "Submitted."

  • PW-20413 - Resolved an issue where areas were not appearing on PDF versions of proposals. These sections now display correctly.

Payments & Invoicing

  • Catalog items can now be added directly to invoices from both search results and item detail pages. A new “Add to Invoice” option is available via the smart button, making it easier to build invoices while browsing the catalog.

Integrations

  • PW-20706 - Fixed an issue where the “Connect to Wesco” link continued to display after the connection had already been established.
